Does Sabha work offline?
Prayer times and the Qibla direction are calculated on your phone, so they work without a connection once your city is set.
For the Quran, open More, then Offline Quran, and tap Download for offline use. This saves the Quran text and your current translation on your phone. Surahs you open while online are also saved automatically.
Tafsir, search and audio are not saved and need internet.
The adhan did not sound, or it came late
Open the prayer settings and choose Adhan check. It looks at everything that can stop the adhan and tells you how to fix it. The most common causes are:
- Battery optimization. If it is on for Sabha, the adhan can be late. In the battery settings, choose All apps, then Sabha, then Don’t optimize.
- Exact alarms. Allow “Alarms & reminders” for Sabha, otherwise the adhan can be up to 15 minutes late.
- Notifications. They must be on for Sabha, and prayer alerts must not be turned off.
- Do Not Disturb must not block alarms, and the alarm volume must not be muted.
- City. If no city is set, no adhan is scheduled.
Use Play test adhan in the same screen to hear the adhan in about 10 seconds, the same way it plays at prayer time. The exact menu names can differ a little between phone makers.
How do I report a mistake in the Quran text?
Open the surah in the reader and tap the flag, Report a problem, next to the ayah. Choose what the report is about (ayah text, translation, tafsir, audio, word by word and more), describe what is wrong, and tap Send report. Giving your email is optional, and only needed if you would like a reply. Nothing else is sent.
You can also use More, then Report a problem, or write to us at [email protected] with the surah, the ayah number and what you see.
The prayer times look wrong
Check that your city is right, then try a different calculation method in the prayer settings; the right method depends on your country and community. You can also adjust each prayer by a few minutes. If times still look wrong, report them with Report a problem and tell us which times and what you expected.
